PRODUCT MANAGER- CAPE TOWN- WESTERN CAPE Full Time

Role Overview:

As the Product Manager, you’ll drive innovation in travel offerings, ensure competitiveness, and shape products that delight clients and meet business goals. You will work closely with suppliers, sales, marketing, and operations to deliver seamless travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development & Innovation

• Design and manage competitive travel packages across Southern Africa
• Conduct market research to spot trends and new opportunities
• Regularly update and refine existing products for enhanced value

Supplier Relations

• Build and manage strong relationships with suppliers (hotels, lodges, activity providers, etc.)
• Negotiate rates and secure favourable contract terms
• Ensure suppliers meet high-quality service standards

Marketing & Sales Support

• Collaborate with marketing to enhance online content and campaigns
• Support sales with in-depth product knowledge
• Represent the company at trade shows and events

Operational Management

• Ensure efficient and accurate product delivery
• Monitor product performance and make data-driven improvements
• Provide training and support to internal teams

Systems Proficiency

• Use Tourplan and WETU systems for product updates and operations

What We’re Looking For:

• 8–10 years of experience in the travel/tourism industry
• Strong understanding of Southern Africa as a destination
• Exceptional supplier negotiation and relationship skills
• Proficiency in Tour plan and WETU is essential
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Willingness to travel within Southern Africa
• Proactive, agile, and driven with proven management capabilities
