MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT – VEREENIGING – GAUTENG Full Time

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the general accounting function including preparing journal entries, maintaining
balance sheet schedules, accounts and bank reconciliations. Assisting with monthly closings, account analysis and supporting the Finance Executive in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department. Furthermore, to maintain the integrity of the financial accounting function in accordance with sound accounting practices, company policy and legislative requirements (SOC).

REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience
• Accounting Degree (BCom Accounting and/or Management Accounting)
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of finance principles
• Knowledge of financial reporting (IFRS)
• Knowledge of PFMA Regulations
• technical accounting skills
• previous experience of general accounting
• proficiency in relevant accounting software – SAP
• proficiency in MS Office and Power BI
• Knowledge of Tax Legislation
• Knowledge of Companies Act
• Excellent understanding of organisation processes and practices.
• Minimum of four years’ work experience
