I.T

Division

In this ever-changing era of the “new normal” of disruptive circumstances, winning companies rely on exceptional IT & tech talent to deliver and thrive. 2020 brought massive change and disruption with the global pandemic, forcing us all to work from home. We saw this as an opportunity to form a specialist team within the business focused purely on IT resourcing. We now hire the top emerging IT and tech professionals for our clients who are leaders in innovation and tech globally, as well as automotive industry leaders.

We source for a range of IT specialities, such as Security Engineers, Cloud, Mobile/web services, Project Managers, and Solutions Architects, to name a few.

Empowering the South African Tech/IT industry, building for tomorrow.

Recruitment and Placement of Persons with Disabilities

We launched our TYCH PWD (Persons with Disabilities) division in 2019, after identifying a need for corporates to support, employ and empower PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES. With our assistance, corporates are now able to reach their BBBEE score card goals in this regard.

Our goals in this area include finding suitable employment opportunities for people with disabilities, but they extend beyond this too, to include overcoming the employment challenges around disabilities. One thing that needs to be considered is that not every disability is physical. In addition, living with a disability is a lifelong struggle that can frequently include the emotional toll incumbent with unsought public interest and judgment. At TYCH we believe this need not be an obstacle for career success.

To this end, we ensure we understand the culture and business of our clients, by setting up appointments with the strategic business partners. From here we are better able to match the right candidate with the right job

TYCH PWD Division Offers the Following Placements

Skilled Staff
The placement of persons with disabilities into all aspects of your business from the ground up, within (but not limited to) the following sectors and departments: Finance, Technical, Sales and Marketing, Office Support, Professional and Management positions.

Tych GLI (Graduate / Learnership / Internship) Division

Unemployment rates are at an all-time high. Bearing this in mind, it became incumbent upon us to devise a new, pioneering approach to nurturing talent and developing skills, and thus TYCH GLI (Graduate / Learnership / Internship) Division was born.
Through our TYCH GLI Division, we address the needs of learners, interns and corporates, and assist all parties by connecting them in a real and meaningful way. One that ensures on-the-job experience, which can often open the doors to future opportunities.
TYCH GLI Division’s core focus is on matching each graduate with their ideal career path (in any one of several sectors), and in so doing helping them develop the tools necessary to grow into the employable assets they always hoped to be.

GLI Placements Offered by Tych:

Our Graduate training programmes ease candidates, who have completed a Degree/Diploma, into the working environment, allowing them to obtain the necessary skills to become part of the workforce. The programmes offered are based on the graduate’s achievements and the duration is determined by each respective company.

Top achievers in any of the following programmes may garner possible appointment.

Learnerships

Learnerships provide a good mix of opportunity and skills development. A Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) is theminimum required education level for this programme. The duration of each programme is generally 1-year.

Internships

Internships are for people studying towards a Degree or Diploma, and offer an opportunity to gain practicalexperience in a work environment in-line with their field of study. The duration of an internship ranges frombetween a week to 12-months and can take place during the learners’ semester break.

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are acquired for technical qualifications and are trade specific. An apprenticeship could range from between 3 to 4 years, depending on the programme. The experience and skills are gained through a practical and theoretical component.
