Duties & Responsibilities

Channel Strategy Formulation and Implementation

• • Developing and executing effective channel strategies to enhance market reach and customer engagement.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align strategies with business objectives.
• Market and Customer Insight Maintenance:
  • Continuously monitoring market trends, customer behaviour, and industry dynamics.
  • Leveraging insights to inform decision-making and drive growth.
• New Business Development:
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Building strong relationships with potential clients and partners.
• Strategic Account Management:
  • Managing existing customer accounts strategically.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
• Customer Relationship Management:
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for key customers.
  • Resolving issues promptly and maintaining positive relationships.
• Pricing Guideline Management:
  • Developing and implementing pricing strategies.
  • Balancing profitability with competitive market dynamics.

Minimum Requirements

• Post graduate degree in Supply Chain or Sales and Marketing as well as a commercial or management degree.
• Valid Code EB drivers’ licence
• 10 years’ experience in a marketing and sales function that includes managing complex and/or significant customer relationships and key/national accounts with at least 5 years in a management role. Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in logistics or supply chain management.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
